Meet Ashley
Ashley is the founder and owner of Shimmer Smile Hawaii LLC who has acquired a vast background of 25 years in the Smile Industry. She was born and brought up on the Big Island of Hawaii, where she has lived most of her life. This beautiful island is where she calls home and where she enjoys raising her children. From November 2020, she took the role of being a stay at home mom and then later she decided to open up her own business in June of 2021. She always had the enthusiasm for her past career that involved making people smile. When you add that and her love for family and friends, it fuels her passion to serve others.
The start of her previous career began in 1995. Later in 2006 she became a certified dental assistant (CDA) through the Dental Assisting National Board and is certified in Infection Control as well as completing related Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) training over the years. In addition, she obtained certification in the Tooth Jewelry procedure. Previously she worked as a dental office manager, but the majority of her past career she has worked as a dental assistant at offices in Washington State and Hawaii.
Coming from her prior training and vocation, she has learned and adapted techniques of infection control, keeping everything clean and sanitary which has become second nature to her in prevention to protect you. She leads with years of experience, skills and knowledge in these methods for the services she offers and believes you deserve quality service.
